WELCOME TO MEXICO RESTAURANT & BAR Escape from the ordinary, our food offers a variety of tastes ranging from spicy chili flavors to the sweet and light sauce from the Chile Relleno.

In June of 1995, brothers Marcos and Baruh Villa, natives of Oaxaca, Mexico, opened Mexico Restaurant & Bar to fulfill the need for an authentic Mexican restaurant in Atlantic City. Our Mexican food offers a variety of tastes ranging from spicy chili flavors to the hard to find, sweet and hearty Mole sauce (pronounced mol-eh). The food is traditional Mexican cuisine prepared from actual homemade recipes out-cooking and out-tasting competition. Situated at 3810 Ventnor Avenue Mexico Restaurant & Bar is just a hop skip and a jump away from the major casinos. In 2005, Baruh left for florida and was replaced by Yolanda Villa (Marcos’s wife).

Mexico’s tropical fruits, herbs, potatoes, avocados, corn and beans joined with the Spanish meats, poultry, cheese and diary products to produce a rich tasty, and often spicey cuisine that appeals to most cultures. This cuisine is reflected in Mexico Restaurant’s menu offerings.
