Black Friday shoppers descending on Atlantic City for sales and special holiday deals will be able to take advantage of a special reduced parking rate offered by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) at the Wave Garage.

On Friday, November 24, the Wave Garage at Fairmount and Mississippi Avenues will offer a reduced parking fee of just $4.00, from 5:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.  No purchase is necessary.

The CRDA’s Wave Garage is conveniently located in the heart of the Tourism District’s shopping mecca that includes Atlantic City’s Tanger Outlets, the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University, Bass Pro Shops and other great stores and restaurants in the city’s famed Ducktown neighborhood.

“Atlantic City shoppers are in for a special holiday treat this year,” said CRDA Executive Director Chris Howard. “The reduced parking rate is our way of welcoming visitors and jump-starting the holiday season on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.”

The CRDA constructed the garage in 2012.  The Wave Garage offers 1,180 parking spaces, including six spaces where electric vehicles can recharge.

About the CRDA:
The only agency of its kind nationwide, the CRDA has used Atlantic City casino reinvestments as a catalyst for meaningful, positive improvement in the lives of New Jersey residents since 1984.  Under the 2011 Tourism District Act, the Authority's mission evolved from statewide projects to becoming the state's key economic development agency for Atlantic City.  CRDA's expanded responsibilities now include land use regulation, tourism marketing and clean and safe initiatives. The CRDA also oversees Historic Boardwalk Hall (the leading entertainment venue of its size in the country) and the Atlantic City Convention Center.  In total, CRDA has invested nearly $2 billion in more than 400 projects statewide, of which $1.8 billion has been invested in Atlantic City, spurring business investments and expansions, and creating permanent jobs in the process.
